A Charitable Cause Close to Our Hearts

Over the years, Emerson Crane Rental Inc has been fortunate enough to be able to give back to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls community and the surrounding areas. Our success has been due to the support we have received and continue to receive from other local businesses and community members. We are proud to help other businesses, families, and individuals in the area.

In May of 2015, Emerson Crane Rental Inc was given a unique opportunity to move an 82,000-pound boulder for Retrieving Freedom, Inc. of Waverly, IA. Retrieving Freedom is a non-profit organization that trains service dogs for veterans and children with autism.

After a 14-hour workday with one of the founders, veterans, and volunteers, the Freedom Rock was moved to its new home in front of the Retrieving Freedom facility. Emerson Crane Rental Inc was able to hold the American flag and the military branch flags at the building’s grand opening.

Hearing and seeing firsthand the impact a service dog has on a veteran or child with autism is refreshing. The dogs allow the individuals to gain freedom and go about their daily activities.

The entire Emerson family has formed a lifelong relationship with the Retrieving Freedom, Inc.
